Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global and The Clermont Hotel Group are proud to announce the arrival of Hell’s Kitchen to the United Kingdom. Opening in Spring 2026 at Marble Arch’s iconic Cumberland Hotel, this landmark launch marks the beginning of a multi-site partnership between the two powerhouse hospitality groups.

UK Hells kitchen

Inspired by the hit television series created by Michelin starred chef Gordon Ramsay, Hell’s Kitchen brings the drama and energy of the show directly to the table. Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global has crafted an immersive dining experience that captures the intensity of the series while pairing outstanding food and drink with world class service.

Since debuting its flagship in Las Vegas in 2018, Hell’s Kitchen has become a global favourite with eight locations across the United States and Europe. The restaurants have served over one million Beef Wellingtons and continue to draw fans in destinations including Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Southern California, Atlantic City, Washington D.C., Connecticut, Miami and Ibiza. Now, London will finally join the family in Spring 2026.

Situated in one of London’s most sought-after locations, The Cumberland champions the city’s cultural and music scene, inspired by its rich history of housing music legends. With 900 bedrooms, extensive meeting and event spaces and a newly evolved food, beverage and entertainment offering, the hotel blends comfort and quality while catering to the needs of both leisure and corporate guests.

This iconic setting will provide the perfect stage for the UK’s first Hell’s Kitchen. Guests can expect a striking new restaurant filled with theatre and performance, an open kitchen where the brigade works in full view and a contemporary bar showcasing the latest trends in mixology.

Gordon Ramsay says: “Bringing Hell’s Kitchen to the UK for the first time is an incredible full circle moment. London is where it all began in 1998, so this feels like a real homecoming. Hell’s Kitchen is about fire, theatre and bold flavours, and I can’t wait to share the signature dishes guests love alongside new creations, developed especially for London’s diners.”

The menu at Hell’s Kitchen London will feature a mix of signature favourites and new dishes. Guests can enjoy Ramsay’s celebrated Beef Wellington, Seared Scallops and Lobster Risotto, along with indulgent desserts such as Sticky Toffee Pudding and Apple Butterscotch Cheesecake.

The bar will enhance the experience with expertly crafted cocktails. Highlights include Notes from Gordon, a refreshing blend of Plymouth Dry Gin, green tea, lemongrass, peach and lemon, complete with a personal message from Gordon. An extensive wine list will also be available, showcasing exceptional bottles from across the world to complement the menu.

Pedro da Silva, General Manager at The Cumberland Hotel, says: “We are very proud to be the first venue to welcome Hell’s Kitchen to the UK. We look forward to offering hotel guests and visitors alike a taste of Gordon Ramsay’s iconic dishes, all within our  hotel.”

Hell’s Kitchen at The Cumberland Hotel will open in Spring 2026.

Modern West African restaurant, Shakara, is the latest addition to London’s vibrant dining scene. Nestled in the heart of Marylebone, this first iteration of Shakara serves to provide a thoughtfully curated menu of exceptional African cuisine paired with fine mixology. Rooted in rich cultural traditions and designed to ignite all the senses, Shakara offers a sanctuary of sophisticated indulgence with exclusive private dining.

Shakara London

What are the interiors of Shakara Restaurant like?

Designed by award-winning architect, Red Deer, the space is adorned with earthy-coloured terracotta tiles inspired by Nigeria’s red soil and abstract artwork that showcases artists from leading gallery focused on African contemporary art, Red Door Gallery. From the brand’s logo reflecting a culturally-inspired ‘K’ and talking drum graphic elegantly stamped into wax, the launch of Shakara honours Africa’s culture of homely hospitality while simultaneously incorporating a sense of timeless sophistication and exclusivity.

What food and drink can you expect at Shakara London?

At the helm of Shakara’s kitchen is Head Chef Victor Okunowo, previously of West African restaurant Talking Drum and Semi-Finalist of BBC MasterChef: The Professionals 2020. Consultant Executive Chef Ayo Adeyemi, formerly of Michelin-starred West African restaurant Akoko, was involved with curating the menu. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant ingredients of Nigeria, Ghana and The Gambia, Shakara’s carefully crafted menu showcases authentic African dishes through a modern lens.

Dive into a culinary adventure at Shakara, with the menu offering a selection of small plates and sides such as Jollof rice and grilled prawns with Ogbono relish & grilled lime. Mains include dry-aged Hereford beef, Cornish hake, and native blue lobster with peppersoup bisque & tagliatelle, while dessert options span plantain bread with vanilla ice cream & corn custard and coconut pannacotta with papaya & honeycomb. Each dish is perfectly complemented by Shakara’s fine selection of beverages, including the Jollof Mary (infused with gin, apple juice & grape soju) and the Suya Sour (with chilli infused tequila, FAIR Kumquat & pineapple puree).

Shakara London

Anything else to note?

The launch of Shakara invites diners to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of vibrant ambience, with resident DJs and a variety of live performances spanning Afrohouse, Afrobeats, R&B and house music for an electric late-night dining experience.

Set over two floors, the space will open up to the main restaurant before leading through to a cocktail bar, stage, and private dining area. Situated one level below will be two spacious private dining rooms; the ground floor has 65 covers whilst the lower ground floor has 30 covers.

Jolly Cole, Founder of Shakara, states, “Shakara was born from a simple concept – to export the African palette to the world whilst maintaining international standards. Our aim is to simultaneously entice the five senses – taste, sound, smell, sight, and touch – to provide our guests with the most memorable experience. Shakara offers a twist on contemporary dining, with carefully curated ingredients, ambience, and entertainment from Afro culture.”

The team behind one of London’s legendary 90s haunts is delighted to announce its newest restaurant opening, Fellini. Due to open 6th May in Chelsea, the team behind the iconic Paparazzi Café intends to restore authentic Italian hospitality into the London dining scene, prioritising personal touch and valued relationships over gimmicks and maximalism, whilst retaining a Dolce Vita feel throughout.

Fellini London

What can you expect from Fellini?

Based on the previous successes of Paparazzi Café, the team are homing in on the true essence of hospitality and the old-timer recognition of loyalty in the new opening, encouraging guests from every walk of life to join them in the dining room – alone or in groups, all will be made to feel at home. On the menu, there will be a range of sharing options, making the venue an appropriate choice for a colloquial lunch, a long afternoon or an evening meal kicking on late into the night.

What is the food like at Fellini?

Food is to be approachable and unfussy, with a considered menu of classic Italian dishes and specialities, made with ingredients from carefully sourced suppliers in Italy and around the UK. Fellini showcases a healthier, holistic approach to Italian food, with a focus on nourishing and fuelling the community whilst offering true quality.

Dish highlights include the Fellini Primavera with homemade aubergine and basil pesto and courgettes, and the entirely vegan Ravioli Rossi, consisting of spicy chickpea-filled pasta served with a butter and sage sauce. The menu features an array of freshly prepared main-sized salads and a selection of veg-forward pizzas are prepared with organic and excellently sourced seasonal produce, with the option to make any pasta dishes and pizzas gluten free upon request. Secondi include Veal Milanese and simply grilled fish, with the menu rounding out with much loved decadent and delicious Italian desserts such as the Fellini Tiramisu and a Flourless Chocolate Cake. Alongside there will be an ever-changing specials board chosen by the knowledgeable team, and a Sunday Feasting menu is planned to launch soon after opening.

What about the interiors of Fellini?

Fellini London

Lookswise, guests can expect Fellini to evoke a sense of the slow-paced Italian summer lifestyle in leafy London – attractive and luxurious without the gauche. The restaurant will feature olive trees, providing a taste of Tuscany and the walls will be lined with black and white photos of familiar faces, mounted in glossy black frames. There will be backlit banquet seating surrounds the edge of the room, with the glass front half shuttered with rich walnut slats and roman blinds in olive linen to ensure that guests may retain their discretion as day turns to night. A terrazzo marble bar will run the length of the room, where guests are encouraged to join the bar staff for an aperitif or digestif upon their visit. The dining room will seat 75 covers inside, with a wrap-around terrace providing another 20 al fresco that will open to the public in June.

Owner Tony Aalam and team say: ‘We’ve been looking forward to opening our door at Fellini for some time now. Our commitment to ‘Come Era Una Volta’, or ‘How It Used to Be’, will be prevalent in the restaurant as we revive the personal touch of 20th century Italy, delivering true hospitality and timeless service. We hope that Fellini will naturally become a go-to for our neighbours and indeed draw visitors from across the city. We are filled with anticipation and eager to greet our guests.’

Descend into an art-deco-infused den of fire and spice as new Indo-Chinese brasserie Shanghai Noir brings an intriguing new flavour to the heart of Westminster.  Taking up residence on the lower ground floor of the stunning, Grade II listed Old Westminster Fire Station, Shanghai Noir harks back to the heyday of 1920s and 1930s Shanghai with a fusion of powerful flavours, and opulent furnishings. A heady atmosphere that’s heavy with anticipation captures the spirit of the city that never slept and brings an air of the unexpected to every visit.

What are the interiors of Shanghai Noir?

Undisputedly the most modern and alluring Chinese city in the 1930s, Shanghai was a seductive concoction of glamour and sin, prompting some to call it “The Paris of the East”. The arriving Art Deco style was reinterpreted with more sumptuous Chinese materials like lacquer, ivory, local woods, and silks and created a sensual experience like no other. Shanghai Noir’s 78-cover restaurant draws on the very essence of what made that era so extraordinary, cleverly distilling it into the lower ground level of one of London’s most beautiful historic buildings.

The restaurant and bar are open Monday-Friday evenings from 5pm until midnight, then for lunch and dinner service on Saturdays. Spiced aromas and low lighting will guide you down the staircase surrounded by chinoiserie wallpaper and gleaming brass accents.

Inside, tables are dotted with small, red-fringed lamps, casting sultry lighting and mysterious shadows around the space where you can just as easily slip into a clandestine corner for surreptitious gossip over cocktails as you can take up space by gathering as a group for larger get togethers over a fusion feast.

The Edwardian-era building provides plenty of characterful private dining nooks to suit special occasions and add another layer of intrigue to your evening: The Opium Saloon (16 guests), The Den (38 guests), The Snake Charmer (24 guests) and a Chef’s Table experience available for 9 guests at a time.

How about the food at Shanghai Noir?

A place where culinary artistry meets unparalleled luxury, Shanghai Noir strives to infuse every moment with the essence of indulgence and refinement; whether that’s providing Saturday lunchtime sustenance through starters and small plates or layering tables with colourful collusions of Chef’s specials and sides for an evening’s event.

Familiar calling cards of Chinese cuisine take on complex flavour profiles or twists on tradition with an Indo-spin. Seared black bean scallops, Five-spiced beef with wild mushroom bao, Paneer garlic cream mushroom bao, Devil’s chicken lollipop, and green papaya & mango salad bring zest, depth and tang to dishes that can either be eaten as starters, a moreish accompaniment to cocktails, or ordered in abundance for a tasting table full of delicious smaller servings.

Innovative mains include a bold Chef’s Selection showcasing next level Eastern-inspired creations. Embrace the opulence of the era with the likes of Jaggery miso glazed short rib with peanut podi, garlic Pak choy stew and jasmine rice, finished with gold leaf. Bhot Jolakhiya Chilli Chicken with Glenmorangie Fire prepares spatchcock chicken with the hottest chilli in the world for a flavourful hit that is hard to beat, and whole Cantonese Steamed Ginger Sea Bream permeates the air with delicate aromatics of lemon, fresh herbs, and ginger root.

The selection of homemade steamed Dumplings is a must-try, with fillings such as lamb, chicken, or vegetables, served with tomato & key lime chutney as well as the option to add a broth. Shanghai Noodles come stir-fried Calcutta ‘Street Style’, or as soft buckwheat soba drenched in a red seafood broth and brimming with catch of the day fish, mussels, squid & octopus.

Desserts provide spectacle as well as substance with the signature Coconut Lychee Pannacotta with Pandan leaf-infused coconut pudding, lychee cream, fresh lychee & tapioca pearls, served within a dramatic dry ice bath.

What are the drinks at Shangai Noir?

Have you ever been served from an Assassin’s Teapot? Or sat down to share a Smoking Dragon? Masterfully created cocktails come laced with intriguing new layers of fusion flavour beautifully served within clever contraptions that immerse guests evermore into the Shanghai Noir experience.

The Shanghai Noir Firecracker comes smoking inside the Assassin’s Teapot; an intriguing artefact from history, embodying both ingenuity and malevolence. This teapot’s clever design once allowed the host to serve different beverages (or in the most nefarious cases, poison) to guests from the same vessel, simply by pressing a specific mechanism or aligning the teapot’s spout in a particular way. Now the hidden brew consists of nothing more sinister than a refreshing, punchy blend of Szechuan pepper infused gin, Campari, vermouth, orange bitters, mango & soda. The signature shake-up can also be theatrically served for two to share in the show stopping, intricately designed glass dragon.

Other Indo-Chinese concoctions to be sure to sample include a fruity, aromatic take on the classic Margarita, The Shanghai (Tequila Blanco, kiwi, coriander, lime & almond); and The Pearl, a sweet creamy blend of vodka, pistachio & lychee to honour the generations of sweet makers from the two nations.

The wine list is well researched and helpfully split into sections of those that go best with either Indian spice or Oriental flavours. And for an even more premium experience, an impressive offering of Fine Wines features sought-after French vintages ready to impress including: the Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc, Domaine de la Janasse, Rhône, France (2020) for £160 per bottle; and the Château Rocheyron Grand Cru St-Emilion, Bordeaux, France (2011) for £245 per bottle.

A luxurious, East Asian dining experience in the heart of London’s Westminster, Shanghai Noir lifts the veil on an iconic era of glitz, glamour and mystery that begs to be explored.
