What is the Brighton foodies festival?

Known as Gastro-Glastonbury, the festival will take place at Brighton’s Preston Park across the May Bank Holiday weekend. The three-day event features live cooking demonstrations from top chefs drawn from the ranks of TV’s MasterChef, Great British Bake Off and Great British Menu, plus top-rated Michelin-starred and award-winning chefs. 

Star names appearing in the live cooking theatres include: MasterChef 2021 champion Tom Rhodes, Brighton-based 2018 MasterChef champion, Kenny Tutt, from Pitch restaurant in Worthing, MasterChef: The Professionals champions Alex Webb and Steven Edwards, from 3AA Rosette awarded Etch, in Hove and BBC bread expert, Jack Sturgess.

2. Any UK residents, aged 18 or over, can enter by visiting the Competition landing page at seeninthecity.co.uk and selecting What Theatre is Everybody’s Talking About Jamie taking place at. Only one entry per person is allowed and the closing date for entries is Wed 21st August 2019.
3. The winner will be selected at random and contacted by email or phone
4. Seen in the City’s decision of the winner is final
5. If the selected winner does not claim the prize within five days, we will be forced to re-gift this prize
